Quarry park and promenade
Creil, 2023-2028
The renovation of the Moulin neighborhood is part of an overall plan for the entire southern stretch of the city of Creil. The transformation project draws on the site’s qualities: the presence of a strong landscape framework with the forest of the Oise hillsides and generous landscaped areas, a remarkable topography inherited from the former Saint Maximin stone quarries and the presence of numerous artistic works that line the public spaces. The renovation focuses on a promenade, the backbone of the area, dedicated to pedestrian traffic and linking the cavée de Senlis to the Parc des Carrières, which has also been completely redeveloped. The thorough reorganization of the roads and parking areas, the planting of generous areas of vegetation and turning large mineral to permeable surfaces will transform the area.
