SCULPTURE PARK

The project for the sculpture park is located on two terraces at the foot of the Château de Lacoste, with a breathtaking view of Mont Ventoux and the Monts du Vaucluse. This exceptional location creates the ideal conditions for a cinetic park, to walk and contemplate. The walker’s gaze goes back and forth between the panorama and the displayed artworks. The project relies on the linearity of the terraces to create tense curved paths that provide majestic overviews and surprise effects when discovering the sculptures. The curves create various situations of display for the sculptures: planted alcoves, groups of sculptures or long perspectives on the works.
